Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer in women worldwide, yet early detection significantly increases survival rates. Plus, women’s health encompasses so much more: it involves taking care of all aspects of our physical and mental well-being!

We have some tips for you:

1) Schedule regular health exams.

Scheduling regular health exams, including gynecological check-ups and mammograms according to our age and medical history, is essential to detect conditions in their early stages.

2) Perform Breast Self-Exams

Learning to perform breast self-examination and doing it regularly helps to detect changes or abnormalities in the breasts. Don’t forget this practice!

3) Eat healthy

Maintaining a healthy, balanced diet is critical to your health. Eat foods rich in nutrients, such as fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins.

4) Exercise regularly

Regular physical activity is essential to maintain a healthy weight and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

    5) Learn to manage stress

Learning to manage stress through relaxation techniques positively impacts our mental and physical health.

    6) Pay attention to your menstrual hygiene

Using safe menstrual hygiene products and practicing good hygiene during the menstrual period is essential to prevent infections and other ailments.

    7) Take care of your mental health

Mental health is integral to a woman’s well-being; seek support if needed and take care of your emotions!

At SALUD, several products are specially formulated to promote women’s well-being. Some of them are Black Cohosh, which controls hormonal variations; Fever Few, which eases menstrual cramps; and St John’s Wort, which helps regulate mood swings and other symptoms of menopause.

October is the perfect time for women to reflect and take steps toward self-care. By being aware of early detection of breast cancer and all aspects of our health, women can empower ourselves to live healthier, fuller lives!
